By-Laws

The following aims have been adopted as part of the Association By-Laws:

Work continuously to improve the craftsmanship and quality of products within the construction industry for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.
Maintain a high level of integrity in conducting business with the general public, clients, associates and local governments (or agencies).
Promote fellowship and mutual understanding among the members.
Support resolution of disputes through arbitration.
Co-operate with and assist regulatory agencies in producing codes and legislation beneficial to the general public.
Strive to eliminate excessive regulations that increase consumer costs.
Obtain and maintain a good image with local governments (or agencies) and the general public by meeting or exceeding commitments completely and promptly.
Participate in worthwhile community affairs which relate to the areas outside the construction industry as well as within.
Strive to prevent and eliminate misrepresentation of the construction industry through advertising, publicity, contractual documents or oral communication.
Provide fair and equal employment in all facets of the construction industry.
Promote education among the members and the public in the field of building.
Gain those benefits as may be available to members through group participation in common services.
Encourage state and local regulations relating to construction activities
